JNTUA OT&PRI has well equipped spacious laboratories in all subjects of Pharmaceutical sciences as per the specification of AICTE and PCI. Experiments are designed on the basis of theory concepts so that students can understand the subject easily.
DEPT.OF PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY
The M.pharm program in Pharmaceutical Chemistry is aimed to deliver expertise in the emerging areas od Drug Discovery, Drug Design , Develop documentation/research writing expertise. The department is also commited to deliver skills in the innovative processes for manufacturing of the drug and drug intermediates and their quality assurance using sophisticated instruments.
DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACEUTICAL ANALYSIS
The Department of pharmaceutical analysis has the state of art facilities for qualitative and quantitative analysis of drugs and pharmaceuticals. The lobaratory is equipped with indigenous as well imported analytical instruments. It has a wide range of instruments foe spectroscopic, analytical and chromatographic analysis of drugs and other products.The department is equipped with convemtional instruments like digital balances , spectrophotometer, flame photometer, Nephlo Turbidity meter, Conductivity meter, KF titer, Ph meter and U.V. spectrophotometer. Several advanced instruments like FT-IR spectrophotometer, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)
DEPT. OF PHARMACEUTICS
The Department of Pharmaceutics is a center of excellence in the area of drug development, with the objective of developing cost effective newer drug delivery systems for better medication compliance, students are provided with one of the most dynamic compliance, students are provided with one of the most dynamic programs in the area of Pharmaceutical product discovery and development.
DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACOLOGY
The department of pharmacology offers training in pharmacology and toxicology to both undergraduate and post graduate students, who may subsequently go on to exciting research, regulatory and administrative careers in academic, industrial and health care provisions settings. The department goal is to prepare exceptional students for productive and successful carreers in pharmaceutical industry, academic ,research and public sectors.The department has centralized animal house approved by CPCSEA for conducting experiments on Mice, Rats, Guniea pigs, and Rabbits.
INSTITUTIONAL ANIMAL HOUSE (To be established)
It houses an animal facility, well maintained according to CPCSEA guide lines to facilitate preclinical studies. All research proposals are carried out only obtaining the approval of the institutional Animal Ethics committee.(IAEC)
ENGLISH COMMUNICATION LAB
JNTUA OT&PRI has been provided with necessary latest hardware and software infrastructure with WI-FI server and multiple operating systems enabling a client server environment to Cater computing needs to all students and faculty for their professional activities.
MEDICINAL PLANT GARDEN
JNTUA OT&PRI develops a good number of medicinal plants and aromatic plants in well organized medicinal plant garden with green house , which helps students for extraction of different kinds of natural drugs during their courses.
WIFI-ENABLED CAMPUS
In recognition of the need and importance of internet in the field of education, JNTUA OT&PRI campus is a fully WIFI enabled campus. This facility allows students to access uninterrupted internet connectivity anywhere within the campus including Hostel.

REASEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
JNTUA OT&PRI provides necessary research facilities apart from the regular academic activities for the students and faculty members to carry out their Ph.D program work and other research projects funding by CSIR, AICTE and UGC, New Delhi.
VISITING FACULTIES
Guest lectures plays a significant role in the development process of the students eminent personalities from abroad and reputed Universities are invited and seminars are conducted in the department and hospital etc., Through these activities students and staff get acquinted with latest technology and knowledge which develops the right kind of attitude for success in their career.
